I recommend booking during your pregnancy, ideally around your second or early third trimester. This allows us to reserve a spot around your due date. Once your little one has arrived, we'll choose a suitable session date based on how your baby is doing.
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first few weeks of life. However, there is absolutely no need to worry if your baby is older - beautiful newborn photographs can be captured at any stage.
Yes! Arch + Arrow Photography offers both in-home and studio newborn sessions, allowing you to choose the environment that feels most comfortable for your family.
That’s completely okay! Newborn sessions are baby-led. We allow plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, nappy changes and settling. There is never any pressure to rush.
Absolutely. Your newborn session is about welcoming your newest little person into your family, so parents and siblings are encouraged to be part of the session.
I’ll provide you with everything you need to know before your session, including what to bring and how to prepare baby. For studio sessions, I’ll also provide suitable wraps and simple styling options.
